Your role

As an EU Field Service Engineer Air & Nitrogen, your mission is to support compressed air and nitrogen projects across Europe and ensure a smooth start-up and reliable operation at our industrial customers. Atlas Copco Rental South West Europe provides temporary utility solutions such as compressed air, nitrogen, power, steam and cooling to industrial customers across a wide range of industries. You will report to the EU Service & Hub Team Leader.

You will

  • Support the preparation of compressed air and nitrogen projects across Europe, working closely with customers and local teams.
  • Take the lead in commissioning and start-up of larger or more complex compressed air and nitrogen projects and applications.
  • Follow up projects during start-up and throughout the project to help guarantee a reliable operation.
  • Perform extensive diagnoses and carry out repairs where needed.
  • Document procedures and prepare technical manuals and training content.
  • Act as the permanent contact person for specialty air and nitrogen applications.
  • Work closely with air and nitrogen specialists within the Atlas Copco Group.
  • Share your expertise by providing theoretical and practical training to European technicians.
  • After an induction and training period, actively participate in the 24/7 service and availability for our customers in Europe.

To succeed, you will need

  • A technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, including field service experience.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in commissioning air compressors and nitrogen generators.
  • Fluency in English and good knowledge of common PC applications.
  • Strong administrative skills, with the ability to independently prepare manuals, training content and technical drawings.
  • A driving licence B.
  • A strong passion for technology and the motivation to continuously develop your expertise.
  • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel across Europe, sometimes for longer periods.
  • A customer-oriented, collaborative, methodical and resilient mindset.
