Business Line Manager Temperature - South-West Europe

Your mission

As Business Line Manager (BLM) Temperature, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction of our Temperature business across South-West Europe. This business line encompasses a broad portfolio of temporary temperature control solutions, including industrial cooling, process cooling, hot water, and steam applications serving customers across a wide range of industries.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Atlas Copco Specialty Rental South-West Europe, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating growth, enhancing operational excellence, and strengthening our market position across the region.

You will combine strong technical expertise with commercial leadership to develop the business, enable regional sales teams, and ensure a consistent and scalable operating model across all locations

Key responsibilities

Business Strategy & Growth

• Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the Temperature Business Line across South-West Europe.
• Identify market opportunities, emerging customer needs, and growth segments.
• Drive profitable revenue growth and market share expansion across all regions.
• Translate strategic objectives into tangible commercial and operational initiatives.
• Act as the regional subject matter expert for industrial cooling, hot water, and steam solutions.

Commercial Leadership

• Support and enable sales teams across the region in identifying and developing Temperature opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
• Ensure dedicated business development and sales capabilities are available locally where required.
• Drive cross-selling opportunities within the broader Specialty Rental portfolio.
• Work closely with marketing teams to increase market awareness and visibility of the Temperature offering, ensuring we continuously "make noise in the market."

Operational Excellence

• Define and align fleet requirements and investment strategies across the region.
• Drive standardization of ways of working across regional operating locations.
• Define and implement best practices for project execution, service delivery, and operational management.
• Ensure alignment on steam-related ancillary equipment, accessories, and supporting assets needed to deliver complete customer solutions.
• Foster collaboration between local operational teams to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.

People Development & Capability Building

• Develop regional competence in Temperature solutions through structured training and knowledge sharing.
• Support the development of technical and commercial expertise within sales and operations teams.

What we're looking for

Experience

• Proven experience in a senior commercial, operational, or business line management role.
• Experience within industrial rental, process industries, utilities, energy, manufacturing, HVAC, temperature control, or related technical environments.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies.
• Experience managing stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of industrial cooling, temperature control, heating, hot water, steam, or related applications.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong project and change management capabilities.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are considered an asset.
