Electrotechnical Test Technician/Engineer

 

Under Laboratory manager responsibility, in 6 people team

 

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Participates in defining product tests to validate expected performance and reduce the risk of non-compliance in the electrical domain, particularly for variable speed drives, motors of all electronic technologies, and communication sub-assemblies.
  • Collects design input data, analyzes it, and creates a validation plan in collaboration with the Project Design Leader.
  • Performs or oversees tests carried out by Validation Engineers and ensures the compliance of deliverables.
  • Collaborates with Project Design Leaders to investigate technical solutions for developing technical and functional specifications for new projects.
  • Works with other departments within the Product Company and ensures knowledge and know-how transfer related to electrical components and sub-assemblies.

 

Knowledge:

  • Engineering degree or Master’s (Bac +5) in Electrotechnics, or a University Bachelor of Technology (BUT) in Electrotechnics with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Specialized knowledge in electrotechnics / electronics / electricity / mechatronics.
  • Minimum English level: B2
  • Minimum French level: C1

 

Skills:

  • Ability to propose solutions to technical problems, identify the most suitable ones, and ensure their implementation.
  • Ability to present solutions during concept/design reviews or project reviews.
  • Knowledge of various electric drive technologies and their control systems.
  • Understanding of communication methods and frequency drive settings.
  • General knowledge of Functional Analysis, FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and known fault analysis.
  • Practical professional knowledge of Office 365 and SAP.

  • Well-organized, with a clear, rational, and analytical approach to problem-solving and planning.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
