Your role

As a SHE Adviser, your mission is to To provide operational and management system support within the SHE function, at the Clevedon Product Company, in order to ensure that all employees are able to carry out their roles safely and with minimum adverse impact on the environment. To provide information and support to enable the SHE Manager to give direction and leadership to the Clevedon site management team on SHE related matters. You will report to the Senior SHE Manager.

 

You will

 

  • Support the implementation of the SHE Management System (set out in Risk Control Elements RCE00 through to RCE28) at the Clevedon site.
  • Support internal audits on processes at PC Clevedon in line with the requirements of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local procedures, whilst working towards an integrated SHEQ approach.
  • Track and report on SHE related non-conformances.
  • Support SHE related projects as required.
  • Promote and influence a positive safety culture within the product company.
  • Support process owners to achieve a sustainable approach to the assessment of all risks in their area, the recording of such risks and the swift introduction of measures to minimize such risks, both preventative and protective.

  • Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English.
  • 3-5 years experience in a SHE role
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification
  • Report writing and presentation skills.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Internal Auditor of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 standards preferred.
  • Microsoft Office applications, with particular strength in data analysis and reports.
