Your role

As a Process and Transformation Analyst, you will help shape how we use technology and project management to improve the support and operation process of financial applications. You will be executing improvement initiatives while working closely with operations leads, system experts, and Group IT. You will be part of the Global Reporting Team located globally in Belgium, Czechia (Prague), China, and Colombia, that provides the first level support for group financial reporting and consolidation applications and training activities for internal Atlas Copco units worldwide.Based in Prague or Brno, you will work closely with our operations team and report to the EMEA Regional Team Leader in Belgium.

 

You will be: 

 

  • Analyzing recurring user-questions patterns, operational issues, and processing bottlenecks to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Translating root-cause insights into practical actions such as automation ideas, improved documentation, user guidance, process redesign, or preventive measures.
  • Improving knowledge management, documentation, FAQs, and searchability so that users and analysts can find answers more easily.
  • Supporting the use of digital tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, AI tools, automation tools, dashboards, and workflow solutions.

  • A degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field, with 4–5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in process improvement, business analysis, support operations, finance systems, project coordination, automation, or similar areas.
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a curious and improvement-driven mindset.
  • Ability to identify patterns, structure information, and translate insights into actionable, technology- or process-driven improvements.
  • A service-oriented mindset with the confidence to constructively challenge inefficient or unclear ways of working.
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering results.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures, functions, and levels of expertise.
  • Experience with ERP, consolidation, reporting, data warehousing systems (e.g. SAP ECC, SAP BPC, BW/4HANA, Power BI), and other finance-related tools.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow, or similar workflow and documentation tools.
  • Experience with advanced Excel, Power Query, PowerApps, AI tools, automation tools, dashboards, or working with large datasets.
  • Understanding of support processes, reporting timelines, escalation flows, and operational risk.
  • Experience working in a global and cross-functional environment.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally, mainly to Belgium.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Hubs in Brno or Prague, Czech Republic (CZ).
