Accountant

Your role
As a Accountant (Airpower), your mission is to be responsible for effective and efficient Accounting to Reporting (AtR) process to deliver financial statements and management reporting for Atlas Copco (“AC“) Compressor Technique (“CT“) entities in an accurate and timely manner according to Group policies and IFRS.
You will
- Prepares IFRS based Monthly/ Quarterly/Yearly Group Reporting and takes responsibility for monthly close procedures
- Performs General Ledger activities: payroll, accruals, journals, corrections, standard entries, nonpayroll accruals, CC re-classes and reviews and other country specific tasks (statistics, headcount report, asset management, ICO reporting)
- Prepares balance sheet reconciliations and provides BS and P&L analysis
- Deals with queries in the current ERP system, performs analysis relating to month- end and analysis in area of expertise
- Ensures that the sub-legers and general ledgers are complete and accurate
- Ensures that all balances exist, complete and properly supported.
- Works independently and proactively on all assigned tasks in the task list and tasks assigned by Business controller
- Liaise with auditors (internal/external) and other regulatory units
- Shares information and knowledge with others within the team and whole FSC
- Cooperates on statutory accounts, tax packs and tax returns
- Establish true partnership with internal Atlas Copco customers
- Actively participates in the transition of new activities and operational entities to/from the HUB
- Support merge and acquisition accounting procedures

- Secondary economic/accounting college/university
- 1-3 years Acounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or General Ledger accountant in small companies
- MS Office, ERP experience - ideally SAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation in English
- Basic understanding of financial flows in accounting
- Service- minded and customer- oriented problem solver
- Analytic skills would be an advantage
- Team player
- Flexibility, proactive approach, self-motivated
