Your role

As a Accounts Payable Specialist (Medgas), your mission is to be responsible for processing incoming documents and solving queries in a timely and correct manner, providing support to all related departments.

 

You will

  • Sorting, verifying and processing of incoming documents such as invoices, credit notes, statements and reminders
  • Resolving discrepancies in a timely manner to avoid late payments
  • Engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders through phone, e-mail, Teams and other communication channels
  • Addressing all incoming queries (phone, e-mail, Teams and other communication channels)
  • Participating in reporting and month-end activities
  • Keeping track of open items pending in AP and ERP systems
  • Establishing true partnership with vendors and Atlas Copco entities
  • Adhering to Atlas Copco standard finance processes
  • Supporting the training of new colleagues
  • Ensuring that all specific/local specific processes and tasks are documented and documentation kept up to date
  • Suggesting process improvements to increase quality and efficiency
  • Initiating vendor master data updates
  • Following instructions given by superior
  • Promptly escalating when required using the appropriate channels

To succeed, you will need

  • Completed secondary or university education in an economics-related field is a plus
  • Good knowledge of English; Czech/Slovak is a nice to have
  • Good knowledge of standard AP processes, previous experience in the field is an advantage
  • Experience working in a shared services center is a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, which you will use frequently)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, which you will use on a daily basis
