My name is Benjamin Kitzinger. I’m the Global Business Manager Automation in Atlas Copco, a world leader in developing and supplying assembly tools, software and automation for Smart Factory and Industry 4.0. You will be main located at our Automation Excellence Center in Brno, Czech Republic, and report to me, your global manager in Germany. 

What You’ll Do

• Drive global innovation: Lead the development of our modular Automated Tightening Cell platform, expanding its value across international markets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: Work with Marketing, R&D, and Project Execution to continuously improve solutions.
• Maximize efficiency: Integrate operational feedback to optimize project costs, labor, and execution.
• Understand customer needs: Anticipate market trends and evolving requirements to deliver full customer value.
• Prioritize impact: Guide R&D, define new product functionalities, and secure strategic pilot projects.
• Enable global sales: Share knowledge, provide training, and support teams worldwide in selling automation solutions effectively.
• Shape strategy: Use competitor insights and best practices to refine global automation initiatives.

What You Bring

• Technical degree in Engineering or related field, with deep application knowledge in automation.

• Minimum 5 years in the automation industry, ideally in machine building.

• Strong knowledge in mechanics, mechatronics, and industrial programming (PLC, robotics, etc.).

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Self-driven, able to take ownership, set priorities, and manage workload effectively.

• Proactive, accountable, solution-oriented, and collaborative.

• Willingness to travel (>25%) to customer sites, Automation Innovation Center and Customer Centers
