To help shape the future of Smart Factories, we’re looking for a collaborative and hands-on leader, someone who brings clarity and confidence to complexity, and thrives on guiding teams through challenges others find impossible. As Automation Taskforce Lead you will be part of our Global Projects Operations Team. Your mission will be to build and drive a rapid-response team of automation experts, supporting the most demanding and high-impact projects across the globe.

Your mission

• Build and coordinate a skilled team of network and engineers with expertise in PLC programming, robotics, vision systems, and mechatronics.
• Rapidly deploy support to global automation projects, solving technical challenges with speed, precision, and professionalism.
• Lead from the front, planning, executing, and resolving issues while maintaining customer trust and safety.
• Foster collaboration across Automation Innovation Centers, Excellence Centers, and Customer Centers.
• Contribute to the development of colleagues through internal training and knowledge sharing, strengthening our global automation capabilities.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all project environments.

To succeed, you will need

• Proven track records in managing and motivating technical teams.
• Background in high-volume production environments, ideally automotive.
• Experience working in international, connecting different cultures.
• Proven work experience in fields such as mechatronics, robotics, software industrial plc and control engineering or related.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems ideally in the automotive environment
• Deep understanding of industrial control systems and automation technologies.
• Fluent in English.
• Curious and solution-oriented, resilient under pressure.
• Agile mindset with a passion for innovation.
• Strong communicator and collaborator.

Location & Travel

• Base location: Brno, Czech Republic (flexible depending on candidate)
• Global travel: >70%
