Your role

We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead logistics improvements, with a strong emphasis on production-related functions, for customer centers using the ERP ACT! SAP template within the Compressor Technique Business Area.

SAP Act! is our globally rolled-out customer center ERP in over 100 entities and roll out continues to newly acquired companies.

 

You will join a dynamic and dedicated team of experts focused on bringing efficiency and transparency to our customer centers end-to-end logistics processes. Bringing an improved overall customer experience and optimal integration within our ecosystem.

 

Your mission will be three-fold

  • Template enhancements. Develop and implement the logistics roadmap for further enhancements to the customer center ERP (act!) production functionalities. 
  • Roll out. Support roll out of act! to customer centers with both customer center as production activities
  • Support customer centers. Define and implement standardized procedures, best practices and new improvements in our customer centers which shall lead to increase in operational efficiency

 

More specifically this means you will:

  • Be an expert with both hands-on and in-depth knowledge of logistics processes, with a strong emphasis on production-related functions
  • Lead production- related template improvements from feasibility study to closure. Evaluate ideas for improvement, manage and execute functionality requirement description, business case, testing, implementation and closing the loop with all stakeholders.
  • Offer expert guidance to Rollout BPX, Regional BPX, logistics engineers, and other key stakeholders, while proactively communicating process updates and changes within the internal team.
  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with the Business Process Manager and CT Logistics management to ensure that all developments align with the strategic direction and standards of the overall template.
  • Lead CT Logistics representation in the ACT! program for hybrid companies, ensuring clear follow-up and prioritization. Take ownership of driving strategic alignment and obtaining approvals from CT divisions to support key business priorities
  • Participate in the act! implementation for production-related functions
    • Conduct impact analysis: Evaluate request for changes from new roll-outs to the template, prepare business process specification and benefit calculations
    • Execute User Acceptance Testing for new developments required for local changes.
    • Guide and evaluate training needs to help users embrace changes and new SAP features.
    • Provide on-site support during pre-rollout and post-implementation phases.
  • Change management: structurally grow the competence of the Customer Center, supporting the adoption of best practices.
  • Assist the customer center in critical problem solving activities

 

In this position you take up a leading role on production-related functionalities  within the team and  will come in to contact with various processes throughout the supply chain. You will be able to maintain a broad network by working together with various teams on all levels.

 

In this position you will report to the CT Global Logistics Manager.

Experience requirements

  • Knowledge of SAP Logistics modules or production flow is essential
  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience of working in a multicultural environment is considered a plus.
  • Must have a strong analytical and problem- solving background.
  • Good command of English is essential.
  • You are PC literate with knowledge of standard Office tools.

 

 

Educational requirements

University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent experience required.

  • Excellent communication skills, which have an impact on others
  • Strong leadership skills and able to work in a team at all levels
  • Able to keep productive under pressure
  • Good planning abilities and abilities to regularly and concisely update stakeholders on project statuses.

This position will be based in Brno Czech, as part of the Customer Success Center.
