Inside Sales CEE
Your role
At Edwards - General Vacuum Europe, part of Atlas Copco, we’re seeking a committed Inside Sales Engineer. Your mission is establish Edwards as the preferred supplier of vacuum products and services across Southeast Europe, focusing on direct and indirect accounts within the Industrial, Scientific, and Research & Development (R&D) sectors, with potential expansion into Scientific OEMs. This role will drive sales growth in collaboration with the regional team, ensuring strong market presence and customer engagement. The successful candidate will actively promote our range of pumps and vacuum components, while providing exceptional front-line support to meet customer needs and maintain clear, effective communication
Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sales growth across Southeast Europe by supporting direct and indirect accounts in Industrial, Scientific, and R&D sectors.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Technical Support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Provide first-line technical and commercial support, including lead generation, quotations, and tender follow-ups.
- Manage pre-sales activities such as documentation, compliance checks, and digital engagement.
- Respond to customer inquiries and support marketing initiatives including events and campaigns.
- Identify new business opportunities and re-engage with dormant accounts.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
- Maintain and optimize CRM (C4C) usage for lead and opportunity management.
- Participate in joint customer visits and actively contribute to regional business development.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Background in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline; knowledge of vacuum applications is a plus.
- Fluent in Czech and English (written and spoken).
- Strong commercial acumen with a keen interest in market and competitor dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Confident working independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a “can-do” attitude.
- Experience with SAP or CRM systems (e.g., C4C) is desirable.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our facility in Brno, Czech Republic.
