SEO Specialist (eCommerce)

Your role
As an experienced SEO Specialist in our Digital Marketing team, you will play a key role in developing and executing integrated SEO Visibility strategies, optimizing our global ecommerce and web pages and many more. The role is ideal for someone eager to learn, collaborate, and grow within a dynamic team.
You will be part of international Digital Marketing team based mainly in Brno and focused on improving the SEO part of global digital presence of Atlas Copco Compressor Technique webs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated SEO and AI Visibility strategies across multiple ecommerce storefronts to maximize organic visibility and qualified traffic.
- Optimize key ecommerce surfaces—including product detail pages (PDPs), product listing pages (PLPs), and landing pages—for both search performance and conversion.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits with a focus on:
- Site architecture and internal linking strategies
- International and local SEO best practices
- Schema / structured data for products, reviews, pricing, availability and more
- Crawl budget optimization, indexation management, and site performance (speed, Core Web Vitals, etc.)
- Collaborate with development teams to implement SEO best practices in code, structured data, and site infrastructure.
- Support regional teams and customer centers in developing localized SEO strategies—covering local keyword targeting, Google Business Profile optimization, and multilingual content alignment.
- Enhance site and content discoverability for next-generation search, ensuring assets are easily visible by LLMs and GenAI-powered systems.
- Build, maintain, and analyze SEO performance dashboards by market, tracking KPIs such as organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and revenue impact.
- Stay ahead of SEO and AI trends—especially within the industrial and capital equipment ecommerce sectors—bringing innovative insights and opportunities to the team.
To succeed, you will need

Experience: 3+ years as an SEO Specialist or similar role within an ecommerce environment, digital agency, or large enterprise.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices

Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Semrush, Oncrawl, Screaming Frog, GA4, Looker Studio)

Basic understanding of JS/HTML/CSS and ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar)

Experience with structured data markup, canonicalization, and site migration SEO considerations

You have a global mindset, collaborating effectively with international teams to ensure strategies are consistent yet locally relevant

Analytical & Strategic Skills: Strong ability to interpret performance data, identify opportunities, and recommend actionable optimizations.

Localization Experience: Familiarity with international SEO, AI best practices, content localization workflows, and translation vendor collaboration.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration; proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Bonus: Exposure to AI visibility tools, GenAI content optimization, or AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco Services, s.r.o. in Brno, Holandská str. 10, Czech Republic. Potentially working from Prague office/work location is possible.
We can offer 3 home-offices and 2 days in the office per week.
