Your Role
The Supply Chain & Planning Manager will be responsible for building and leading the supply chain department from the ground up – team approx 5 people.
This includes defining and implementing all core processes for planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management, while ensuring strong supplier relationships and cost-efficient sourcing strategies.
The role is pivotal in creating a robust, agile supply chain that supports the company’s growth. You will design and own key processes such as CTB (Clean-to-Build) / planning, BOM structuring, supplier development, and cost optimization through supply chain innovation.
Main Responsibilities
- Build and establish the Supply Chain and Planning department from scratch, including structure, processes, tools, and competencies.
- Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain processes (planning, sourcing, logistics, material flow, inventory control).
- Define and execute procurement and sourcing strategies, identifying and developing reliable suppliers for both local and international sourcing.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives across the value chain – optimize sourcing, logistics, and make/buy decisions to improve total cost of ownership.
- Implement and lead Clean-to-Build (CTB) and Material Availability Planning to secure on-time production readiness.
- Establish and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and master data governance in SAP.
- Lead the setup and continuous improvement of logistics, warehousing, and inbound/outbound processes.
- Develop KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor supply chain health (OTD, CTB, cost, utilization, inventory turnover).
- Build and maintain supplier partnerships – including negotiations, pricing, capacity planning, and risk management.
- Define and optimize functional interfaces between Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Finance.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, SHE, and legal standards.
- Hire, train, and lead the Supply Chain team – developing talent and competence for long-term sustainability.
- manage ERP (SAP) system, process mapping, and user training across supply chain functions.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline workflows, increase visibility, and enhance decision-making accuracy.
To succeed, you will need
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Planning leadership roles.
- Proven track record in leading or setting up the supply chain organization.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, material master data, and BOM structures.
- Hands-on experience in CTB (Clean-to-Build) and production planning.
- Strategic sourcing and supplier development skills, including price and contract negotiations.
- Solid understanding of logistics and warehouse management processes.
- Excellent analytical and process-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Fluent English, Czech or Slovak is a must.
- Skilled in MS Office and modern ERP/BI tools.
