Supply Chain Specialist

Your role
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a key role in managing supply chain operations for customers across all EMEA countries, helping strengthen Edwards’ position as a world-leading brand and supporting our vision of being “First in Mind, First in Choice.” Acting as the central link within the Semiconductor Customer Centre and between Distribution Centres, STCs, Planning Teams, and Product Companies, you will drive collaboration to maximize customer service levels across the region. You will also lead materials management activities for EMEA satellite plants, optimizing inventory levels to ensure the right balance between stock availability, cost efficiency, and agreed service commitments, while ensuring compliance with Atlas Copco’s Business Code of Conduct.
What will you do?
- Ensure excellent service levels for customers across the EMEA region by proactively managing supply chain activities and resolving delivery challenges.
- Coordinate with Sales Ops and Service Teams, Distribution Centres, Product Companies, Sales Teams, and Controlling Teams to maintain a smooth supply flow.
- Monitor delivery performance, identify risks, and drive actions to improve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage supply chain escalations and develop alternative solutions when customer delivery or service commitments are at risk.
- Support inventory optimization through data analysis and collaboration with planning, on-site, and controlling teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency and business performance.
To succeed, you will need
- At least 3 years of experience in a Customer Care or Supply Chain position within a manufacturing company, a proven track record of delivering results in projects, logistics, or supply chain management, and sound business knowledge and financial acumen
- Relevant university degree in Commerce/Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent English communication skills; Czech and other languages are an advantage
- Excellent business systems skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI); knowledge of SAP ERP and CRM systems is desirable
- Proactive, self-organized, results-driven personality with a drive for growth and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to multitask
- Familiarity with the principles of world-class supply chain management, its implementation and support
