Your role

As a Training Specialist STC EMEA at Edwards, you will play a key role in enhancing our team's capabilities by designing and delivering comprehensive technical and functional training programs. Reporting directly to the designated Hiring Manager, you will ensure that learning initiatives align closely with our strategic objectives, fostering professional growth and operational excellence across the Semiconductor Service Division.

  • Develop engaging and diverse training materials tailored to various learning formats, including in-person sessions, virtual classrooms, and self-paced e-learning modules.
  • Conduct thorough training needs analysis through collaboration with managers and stakeholders to identify skill gaps and define clear development roadmaps.
  • Coordinate onboarding programs and deliver targeted training to new hires and technical specialists, helping them integrate smoothly and perform effectively.
  • Partner closely with HR teams and the Global Training & Development function to continuously improve content quality, relevance, and delivery methods.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, attendance, and progress using our Learning Management System, ensuring compliance and reporting integrity.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness systematically by analyzing feedback and performance data, applying insights to refine future programs.
  • Build and oversee annual training plans that support the ongoing career development and competency enhancement of employees within the STC EMEA department.
  • Champion employer branding initiatives, employee engagement strategies, and wellbeing programs, contributing positively to our inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

To succeed, you will need

We encourage applications from candidates who bring a diversity of skills and experiences. While it’s ideal to have 2-5 years of relevant experience, your unique background and perspective are valued.

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, training design, or a comparable specialist role.
  • Ability to create and deliver training materials adaptable across multiple learning environments.
  • Understanding of adult learning theories and proficient use of Learning Management Systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure program outcomes effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and facilitation capabilities.
  • A proactive, creative mindset with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in Czech with good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • An approachable and positive attitude, coupled with a good sense of humor to foster a collaborative and enjoyable work environment.
