Your role

The Smart Factory team is part of the process engineering department, working closely together with production and engineering to make the Airtec division factories smarter every day. The team is a diverse mix of profiles and backgrounds, from backend engineers to low/no code developers. The scope includes manufacturing operations management systems, connectivity, AI, simulations, innovation and data.

In our team you will have the opportunity to work closely to production and see the results of your work being used daily.

 

As a .NET Developer (Cloud Developer) you will participate & contribute to every stage of the project right from interacting with internal customers/stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and proposing to them the solutions which will be the best fit to their expectations. You will have a chance to be part of global projects delivery with the possibility of traveling if required.

 

As such, you will be responsible for technical application ownership, developments (including documentation and supporting PMs in planning and budgeting activities), and 3rd line support activities.

You will also be responsible for hosting third-party Manufacturing Operations Management System (MOMS) software on Kubernetes, managing Helm chart deployments, and ensuring secure and scalable environments.

 

You will report to Project Leader/Team leader of Smart Factory team.

To succeed, you will need

 

Requirements:

 

  • Technical background –  Bc. Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Minimum 3 - 6 years of experience in .NET >8 (C#)
  • Some experience in Azure Cloud development

 

Tech Stack you will use (not necessarily need to know):

 

  • .NET (C#), React, SQL Server, Web API, EF Core, and the likes
  • SOLID, CQRS, and the likes
  • Azure services like KeyVault, Functions, App Service, Kubernetes, Blob/Table/Queue Storage, and the likes
  • Automate builds and deployments using Azure DevOps repositories (GIT) and pipelines (YAML)
  • Advanced level of English – at least B2
  • Mature in mindset, independent, flexible
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30% of work time (1 x quarter per week, during rollouts or entry training more often; mainly to Belgium, but other locations might be as well)

Job location

Hybrid working
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco Services premises at Holandská str.10 in Brno, Czech Republic (CZ).

Hybrid working with 50% of attendance in the office/week.
