Your role

As a Field Service Engineer Hungary at Atlas Copco Group, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our cutting-edge industrial equipment within the Hungarian market. This role involves hands-on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of Atlas Copco machines at customer locations across various industries.

• Execute precise mechanical and electrical installation of Atlas Copco machinery, adhering strictly to company protocols and safety standards to guarantee seamless operation from the outset.
• Lead the commissioning process by performing rigorous system checks, functional testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring equipment meets both manufacturer specifications and client expectations.
• Deliver comprehensive training sessions and detailed operational guidance to client personnel, empowering them to utilize and maintain equipment efficiently and safely.
• Proactively engage in preventive maintenance programs to detect potential issues early, applying your expertise to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Provide prompt and informed technical support and solutions to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Document all service activities accurately and communicate effectively with project managers and the broader operations team to support seamless project delivery and continuous improvement.

To succeed, you will need

To excel in this position, the successful candidate will bring:

• Native-level proficiency in Hungarian and intermediate communication skills in English to ensure clear collaboration with global team.
• A relevant vocational qualification, preferably as a mechanist, electrician, mechatronic technician, or specialization in control or electrical technology.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude with proven experience in mechanical and electrical system assembly, diagnostics, and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel frequently to diverse customer sites, adapting comfortably to different working environments and challenges.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to work independently while maintaining a customer-focused mindset and a disciplined approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools essential for documenting work and maintaining effective communication.
