Salary Range: $20.94 - $26.17

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. 

Your role

    The Warehouse Operator is responsible for assisting in material flows that support manufacturing and distribution in the company site.  This role will assist in maintaining inventory control and safe systems of work while driving continuous improvement to achieve operation targets and efficiency.

 

•    Ships, receives, unloads, and handles materials, supplies, and equipment, and maintains inventory control and records.
•    Verifies purchases orders and quantity and quality of order.
•    Works with Edwards Inventory, which includes stocking shelves and rotating inventory when applicable, maintains shelf-life adherence, delivers and retrieves material/supplies to and from work or storage areas.
•    Completes applicable SAP transactions when necessary and maintains inventory controls, records, and accuracy.
•    Supports key KPI reporting into the logistics group for region KPI reporting though managing materials holds and materials movement transactions in SAP.
•    Ensures replacement orders and first-time request orders are being raised as required and communicate supply issues as they arise.
•    Supports the availability modeling and sizing tools used from forecast and Central Logistics teams to ensure availability and health of service spares is both monitored and maximized.
•    Adheres to requirements for PPE and all safety rules and becomes familiar with and practices all safety procedures.
•    Operate powered pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
•    Maintains the accuracy of exchange pump pool, finished goods, and spare parts inventory and associated stock records.

Education level
o    High School diploma or GED. 

Preferred Previous experience
o    Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Operations environment preferably strong working knowledge of inventory management systems with Supply Chain management knowledge and 1 to 3 years’ experience.

Knowledge areas/Skills 
o    Knowledge of MRP transaction and planning systems

Other requirements
o    Excellent communication skills, including well-developed inter-personal skills relating to internal members and global operations personnel.
o    Computer literate, specifically: MS Office skills, with high proficiency in Excel and Access.
o    Preferred pervious forklift and pallet jack experience.

This role involves frequent manual handling and movement in potentially variable environments, requiring sustained physical effort. 

Hand and Finger Use/Dexterity: Uses hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls continually or almost continually (74% of the time), with manual dexterity for grasping and manipulating items. 

Moving Objects/Lifting/Carrying: Frequently moves, transports, positions, or removes objects, often requiring exertion of force (e.g., up to 50 pounds or more for bags or drums); involves static and dynamic strength for pushing, pulling, or carrying. 

Standing/Walking: Remains in an upright stationary position or traverses distances continually (23% of the time for standing) or frequently, including balancing and coordinating multiple limbs. 

Bending/Twisting/Reaching: Positions self by bending, twisting, or stretching the body about half the time (45%), requiring extent flexibility and trunk strength for repeated support without fatigue. 

Repetitive Motions: Performs repetitive actions continually or almost continually (45% of the time), demanding stamina for prolonged physical activity. 

Other Environmental Factors: Frequently exposed to extreme temperatures, weather, contaminants, or noise; wears protective equipment (e.g., gloves, safety shoes) daily (80% of the time).
