Your role

As a Global Mobility Specialist your mission, alongside the Global Mobility Manager is to provide support and guidance to the company and HR in the area of global mobility. The role is a 12-15 month maternity cover position. The successful candidate will support a growing population of international assignments and ensure compliance, for example, with UK immigration, tax and social security, working with multiple external and internal stakeholders.

 

The Global Mobility Specialist will work for the overall Business Area in relation to various Global Mobility processes with specific accountability in the following areas:

 

Assignment Related Activities

  • Operational and advisory ownership of global Short-Term Assignee population from initiation to repatriation including rotational projects 
  • Instructing and monitoring provider services for tax and UK inbound immigration
  • Supporting the annual tax returns process for international assignments including ownership of authorization records.
  • Maintenance of assignee-related data in internal and external portals.

 

Financial Administration 

  • Ownership of UK Modified / Shadow Payroll reporting 
  • Compiling compensation data to share with tax provider 
  • Annual UK P11D processes 
  • Routine associated administration, e.g. checking/processing invoices, creation and management of Purchase Orders; processing internal cost recharging; setting up new providers, instructing manual payments etc.

 

Business Travellers

  • Act as point of contact for business traveller portal, directing queries to subject matter experts and maintaining data.

  • Flexibility and resourcefulness when handling a variety of issues.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Global Technology Centre in Burgess Hill, United Kingdom (GB).
