Graduate Test Engineer - VSS

Your role

As a Graduate Test Engineer - VSS, your mission is to support the development and improvement of test systems and processes for Service Technology Centres (STCs) and Product Companies, ensuring quality and efficiency in product testing. You will report to the Test Development Manager.

You will

• Develop a strong understanding of Edwards products and their testing requirements by collaborating with technicians at STCs and Product Companies.
• Learn how products are commercialised and how risk management tools such as FMEA influence test specifications.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of test software (National Instruments LabVIEW), resolving issues and creating new test code.
• Gain knowledge of test system safety requirements and participate in equipment reviews to ensure safe working practices.
• Assist in documenting test equipment, including flow charts, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and SOPs.
• Engage with external suppliers to obtain quotations and resolve technical issues.

• A recent degree or HND/HNC in software engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.describe non-negotiable skill
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD.
• Familiarity with software design and development tools or IDEs (e.g., LabVIEW).
• Experience using software source code management tools such as Mercurial, Subversion, or Git.
• Confidence in preparing technical reports and documentation in MS Office.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site initially at our GLobal Technology Centre, Burgess Hill.
