Program Manager, Field Service Tooling

Your Role
Embrace an exciting opportunity as our Programme Manager – Field Service Tooling, where your curiosity will drive global improvements. You will be part of our Semiconductor Service Engineering team, reporting directly to the Head of Design for Service, you will lead initiatives to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and standardisation within our global field service operations. Your work will have a direct impact on delivering superior products and innovative solutions to our diverse and international customer base.
As Programme Manager – Field Service Tooling, you will oversee the critical global tooling program that supports the rationalisation and enhancement of tools used across Field Service Operations. Collaborating with Customer Centres and their regional units, you will analyse the current tooling landscape to formulate and execute a roadmap focused on safety, efficiency and alignment. You will partner closely with Technical Support and Product Companies in order to align this roadmap with NPI processes to also develop world class tooling for new and future systems.
Your day-to-day
- Develop and maintain a catalogue documenting existing field service tools categorised by region and product type.
- Develop and implement a roadmap to rationalise and immprove service tooling globally.
- Lead cross-functional projects that pioneer universal field service tooling from initial concept through to successful deployment and adoption.
- Establish and maintain a centralised knowledge hub detailing tool safety, compliance standards, operating procedures, and inventory status for global stakeholders.
- Collaborate actively with Customer Centres, Product Companies, Field Service Operations, and technical teams to define precise tooling requirements and optimise deployment strategies onsite.
- Monitor service tooling-related product incidents through KPIs and lessons learned to foster continuous improvements and minimise risks globally.
Your skills and experience
- Proven expertise in project or programme management within engineering, technical services, or related fields, demonstrating a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, adept at working with diverse, global cross-functional teams to align objectives and expectations.
- Experience navigating decentralised organisational structures, with the ability to influence and drive consensus without direct reporting authority.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly and professionally to audiences at all levels.
- Collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, product development, and customer-facing teams.
- Background in field service operations, tooling management, product lifecycle, or supplier coordination is advantageous.
- Complementary knowledge of vacuum technology, abatement processes, semiconductor industry standards, or operational safety protocols is highly valued.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at either our UK or Korea based sites.
