Finance Intern
CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill a new vacancy in the role of Finance Student / Intern (June to August, approx 3-4 months).
Purpose
The Finance Student / Intern provides support to the accounting department with finace project-related tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support finance-related projects including:
- Finance Policy updates and documentation
- Maintain and update budget tracking files (Excel):
- Work closely with department managers and Business Controller
- Validate and maintain accurate and up-to-date budget data
- Assist in preparing budget communication materials
- Support vendor-focused finance initiatives, including:
- Updating banking information
- Maintaining business partner master data
To succeed, you will need
Qualification Requirements
- Good organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail, enjoy data entry and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
- Comfortable working in Excel and data-driven tasks
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Diploma in business, finance or accounting is preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates enrolled in a qualifying co-operative education program
- Strong Microsoft office (word and excel) skills
- ERP experience (e.g., ACCPAC and SAP knowledge) is an asset
- Previous office administrative and finance/accounting working experience is an asset

The expected rate for this position is $21.47 per hour. The final compensation may vary due to factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
