Your Role

CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing of engineered heavy duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 Compliant) for the CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem and power-generating industry since 1957.

 

CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill the role of Project Scheduler.

 

Purpose

 

The Project Scheduler plans the flow of projects through the entire life cycle of an order and ensures operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Planning and maintenance of SAP network schedules
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts or produce new projected manufacturing schedules; communicate updated schedule to ensure project consistency and optimization
  • Plan and coordinate test schedules with Project Coordinators and testing area
  • Monitor major scope changes and evaluate impact on overall plant schedule
  • Work closely across departments to identify critical path items to ensure on time delivery
  • Flag scheduling conflicts and work cross departmentally to resolve issues              
  • Escalate major issues to appropriate managers to ensure minimal schedule disruptions
  • Monitor and report on critical project milestones related to production (e.g., bill of materials release and major component release)
  • Attend / facilitate departmental meetings and report on progress
  • Provide data to report on delivery precision
  • Use SAP and other tools to monitor overall schedules and capacities with the assistance of Project Coordination and Production teams
  • Assist Applications/Sales departments by providing updates on Engineering/Production current and projected capacities as needed to evaluate lead times for new opportunities

•    Motivated, proactive, team player with excellent interpersonal skills 

 

 

Education and/or Experience

 

 

•    University/College Degree in a relevant field is required
•    Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar function is required with manufacturing/industrial environment experience is preferred
•    Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
•    Basic understanding of MRP/ERP principles and practices required
•    Experience working with SAP environment is an asset
