Radial Drill Operator

Your role
CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill an existing vacancy in the role of Radial Drill Operator.
As a Radial Drill Operator, you play a vital role in our production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. Your expertise and dedication are essential in manufacturing products according to detailed specifications and schedules. By joining our team, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence and help us deliver outstanding results to our customers.You will report to the Machine Shop Operations Manager.
You will
- Setup and operate drill with different parts (i.e., cases, impellers and covers) at different stations with little to no supervision
- Support the Machine Shop Operations Manager or Production Management as part of production control operations
- Take instruction from the Machine Shop Operations Manager or Production Management, for the machining of parts scheduled for jobs, service, or repair
- Work within safety policies and guidelines
- Other tasks may include working in other areas or as assigned by Manager (e.g., cleaning or preparation tasks in other workstations)

- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Other training qualification in drilling operating is an asset
- 3-5 years of machining and/or drilling experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledgeable in Setup and Drilling
- Able to utilize measuring equipment
- Good understanding of geometry
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Must be safety and environmentally focused
