Your Role
CPC Pumps International Inc. is a part of the Atlas Copco Group, a world-leading industrial group present in more than 180 countries, over the span of approximately 150 years. It is a company that serves customers with innovative compressor, vacuum, power, and industrial technologies. CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing of engineered heavy duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 Compliant) for the CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem and power-generating industry since 1957.
CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill the role of Testing Supervisor.
Purpose
The Testing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising pump testing operations. They will ensure the pump systems and equipment are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead a team of technicians involved in conducting pump tests, provide guidance, train, and ensure proper work execution
• Make decisions on piping arrangement, instruments selection, alignment method of the pump and driver
• Maintain calibration activities of pressure gauges as required by Hydraulic Institute standard
• Performance and mechanical tests of all types of different API standard pump models
• Plan and schedule pump testing activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Analyze test data and performance results to access the efficiency and effectiveness of the pumps, identifying any deviations or issues
• Investigate and resolve pump performance issues, malfunctions, and discrepancies that arise during testing
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing pump test results
To succeed, you will need
Qualification Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Proven self-starter with strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Must be safety and environmentally focused
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics and/or relevant field
• 8 to 10 years of extensive working experience in pipeline testing and centrifugal pump testing
• Knowledge of API, HI standards
Physical Demands
• Office environment involves sedentary work with repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where problems occur and workload is heavy

Work Environment
• Work environment involves working in both the warehouse and office settings
• Warehouse environment involves ability to work in a high noise area, work around forklifts, machines, and equipment.
• Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots, while working in warehouse
• Must be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures
