[MISSION]

  • As the order volume of the local PC KRN has significantly increased and is expected to continue, we see a significant need to increase our capability and expertise to better serve our customers during preparation of installation and commissioning.
  • The holder of this position is in close contact with our service technicians and engineers in the field (installation and commissioning), as well as with our customers' project managers and their site managers.
  • There are also close interfaces with almost all relevant departments within the company such as Engineering, Production, Sourcing, as well as Finance and especially Aftermarket.

 

 

 

[KEY RESPONSIBILITY]

Site Coordinator will be involved in the project at an early stage of the project (internal kick-off meeting, design reviews, final inspections) and will be highly responsible for the smooth process between internal delivery to successful acceptance by our customer at the construction site.

This challenging and exciting job is part of the project management team and is linked to our prime business. The position includes, but is not limited to, the following technical and commercial tasks and activities:

  • Preparation of assignments by inquiring about the general conditions (technical, logistical, and commercial)
  • Being the customer contact during installation and commissioning
  • Briefing and de-briefing of the erection and commissioning engineer
  • Supervision of the assignments by continuous progress, cost, and schedule monitoring
  • Ensuring invoicing in consultation with Finance
  • Take part in design review meetings.
  • Carry out “lessons learned” meetings to feedback project findings and insights within the company.
  • Claims management (preparation of obstruction and delay notices)
  • Assisting the project manager with the "commercial closure" of the project.
  • Reviewing and processing requests for installation and commissioning (including specification).
  • Preparation of quotations for installation and commissioning

 

 

 

[REQUIREMENTS]

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering with business knowledge, industrial engineering or comparable.
  • Technical knowledge about turbo and/or screw compressor packages and related auxiliary equipment like heat exchanger, drives, controls, …
  • Field service or workshop experience
  • Confident handling of MS O365, ERP system (SAP is a surplus) and our PLM system.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • High communicative skills in dealing with internal interfaces, customers, and suppliers.
  • High resilience & ability to prioritize and high degree of initiative.
