GAP Handler_Material

Your role
The mission of the Material Handler is to ensure efficient warehouse operations and smooth outbound logistics while supporting production activities through close cooperation with the workshop team. This role is responsible for the receipt, handling, processing, and preparation of materials for production, including kitting activities, as well as managing domestic outbound logistics and workshop inventory.
Key responsibilities include the safe handling of incoming goods using cranes, forklifts, or manual methods as required, and confirming delivery status in the SAP system. The role involves coordinating with the Quality team in cases of damaged or non-conforming packaging. The Warehouse and Material Handler manages all inbound material processes, including Goods Receipt (GR) posting, material identification and labeling, storage in designated racks, and execution of inventory transfer transactions in SAP.
In addition, the position supports production by distributing materials to designated production orders based on production material slips. Regular physical inventory checks are performed in production and workshop areas, with results reconciled against SAP records to ensure inventory accuracy. The role also includes coordinating with external packing companies for the packing of equipment, components, and spare parts, as well as performing other related duties as assigned by the line manager.
To succeed, you will need
The ideal candidate has a proven background in material handling or logistics, with practical experience operating cranes and forklifts. Familiarity with standard IT tools such as Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems is required, while experience with SAP R/3 is considered an advantage.
This role requires strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Candidates should hold at least a high school diploma and have a basic understanding of material handling systems and warehouse processes. The ability to read and understand English documentation, along with fluency in Korean, is essential.
A valid forklift license is preferred; however, candidates without a license must be willing to obtain one after joining the company. Flexibility to work late shifts when necessary and willingness to travel domestically on an occasional basis (typically less than 5% of working time) are also required.
