JOB TITLE: Engineering Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

DIVISION: GAP (Gas and Process)

REPORTING TO: Engineering Manager

LOCATION: Busan Plant

 

 

[Mission]

To provide best solutions regarding function and costs of the required control systems and instrumentation according to specifications and customer needs.

 

 

[Major Responsibilities]

  • To understand the requirements regarding controls and electrification of the technical order specification
  • To set up the controls and instrumentation diagram of the compressor package and/or to support the product companies in doing so.
  • To prepare all order specific controls documentation as;          
    • Circuit and terminal diagram,
    • Layout drawing of junction boxes and Panels,
    • Instrument List,
    • Functional Diagram
    • Set Point List.
  • Specification of control panels.
  • To select the required instruments and other components and to prepare bill of materials.
  • To give assistance to our suppliers and our own packaging center regarding electrification and controls.
  • Participation during customer meetings, and meetings and give technical support to the project manager.
  • Coordination between the AC product companies and local customers regarding controls
  • Follow up and coordination with component suppliers.

 

 

[Job Requirements]

  • University degree in electrical/controls engineering including programming.
  • More than 3 years working experience in engineering or production environment.
  • Experience in a multinational or exporting machinery company would be appreciated.
  • Very good English in both spoken and written, fluency in Korean language.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Good computer skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2D and ERP system (SAP knowledge is a surplus)
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.
  • Willing to travel, average <10%.
