JOB TITLE: Specialist_Warranty Claim

DIVISION: GAP (Gas and Process)

REPORT TO: Manager_Aftermarket

LOCATION: Busan, South Korea

 

 

 

 

 

[MISSION]

 

The primary focus of this role is to coordinate with internal and external teams and manage order processing for aftermarket activities related to compressor packages, with a strong emphasis on warranty claims. You will report to the Aftermarket Manager, and the position is based in Busan, Korea.

 

 

 

 

 

[KEY RESPONSIBILITY]

 

As an Aftermarket Warranty Claim Administrator, you will serve as a key point of contact for warranty claims. With your expertise, you will provide continuous technical advice and collaborate internally (sourcing, engineering, production, SHEQ, warehouse and logistics) and externally (customer and agency). The position includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks and activities:

  • Act as a point of contact for warranty-related issues; coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely and accurate claim handling.
  • Coordinate with customers, internal departments and vendors to support field resources as needed.
  • Manage the warranty parts process, including logistics and documentation for returns, replacements, and tracking.
  • Provide documented feedback to improve products, processes, and commercial success.
  • Participate in production, quality, and engineering design review meetings; follow up on actions and upgrades.
  • Provide after-hours support to customers when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

 

 

 

 

[REQUIREMENTS]

 

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent, additional commercial background is a surplus
  • Technical knowledge about turbo and/or screw compressor packages (rotating machinery) and related auxiliary equipment like heat exchanger, drives, controls.
  • More than 3 years’ experience as a coordinator or mechanical engineer.
  • Experience in marine environment, especially in LNG, is a strong surplus
  • Familiar with logistics processes, inbound and outbound, also export
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, Korean language is your mother tongue
  • Confident handling of CRM, MS O365, ERP system (SAP is a surplus) and our PLM system
  • High communicative skills in dealing with customers, internal interfaces, and also suppliers even under pressure
  • Self-driven with high resilience & ability to prioritize and high degree of initiative
  • Structured approach - organizational talent
  • Independent way of working - entrepreneurial mindset
