GAP_Assistant_Quality Assurance (Temp.)

Your role
• Quality Planning and Process Control: Support quality planning in the early stage of projects and process inspection activities to ensure compliance with standards.
• Quality Process Verification: Monitor the effectiveness of quality processes and inspection procedures throughout all project stages.
• Non-conformity Management and Shipment Release: Support follow-up actions and control of product non-conformities and issues related to shipment release.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous quality enhancement through inspection result analysis and corrective actions.
• Integrated Management System (IMS) Support: Assist in operating quality, environment, occupational health and safety systems in line with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001) and legal requirements.
• Quality Management Operations: Coordinate relevant activities to ensure product quality meets internal and external requirements, and support the maintenance and operation of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
• Inspection Point Review: Review key inspection points for each project to identify project-specific requirements.
• Quality Documentation Management: Prepare, review, maintain, and manage quality documents (dossiers) for certified orders, including components and package documentation.
• Inspection Schedule Coordination: Schedule witness tests with external marine surveyors and coordinate supplier product inspections.
• System Utilization: Manage and operate data in quality-related IT systems such as SAP and PLM.
• Claims and Corrective Actions: Support customer complaint handling and collaborate on establishing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through root cause analysis.
• Field Test Support: Support quality management tests and equipment performance tests according to project scope.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering and Production teams to solve technical issues and define improvement actions.
• Safety and Environmental Management: Support compliance with ISO systems and internal safety guidelines to maintain a safe and incident-free workplace.
To succeed, you will need
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Engineering, Production/Assembly, or Contract Handling, with sound business judgment.
• Job Competency: Experience in quality coordination or quality-related roles.
• IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP R/3, CAD, and PLM systems preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the design and production processes of engineered-to-order equipment, including assembly, welding, testing, and non-destructive testing.
• Communication: Good interpersonal skills and the ability to use English for work purposes, including basic business communication and document comprehension.
• Others: Experience in production control focused on quality inspection and in coordinating quality issues with customers is preferred.
