Your Role
The Service Planner coordinates service quotations, resource planning, and mobilization for Global Marine Service activities worldwide.The role ensures that the right Field Service Engineer, competence, tools, parts, documentation, and travel arrangements are ready for safe, efficient, and on-schedule service execution.
Your day-to-day

- Coordinate Global Marine Service requests, maintain visibility of assignment status, and manage the global service schedule while communicating any changes or potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop service quotations by confirming scope, labor, travel, tools, parts, schedules, costs, and commercial requirements, ensuring alignment with customer and business needs.
- Match service requirements with qualified Field Service Engineers based on availability, competence, certifications, location, workload, and travel requirements, while supporting sustainable workforce utilization.
- Coordinate all prerequisites for successful service execution, including technical instructions, safety information, tools, parts, diagnostic equipment, documentation, travel arrangements, visas, permits, and site access.
- Track mobilization and service progress, manage escalations related to delays, resource conflicts, scope changes, safety concerns, and customer issues, and ensure timely completion of timesheets, expenses, reports, invoicing, and job closure activities.
- Maintain accurate planning data and contribute to improvements in resource utilization, schedule adherence, first-time-fix rates, reporting quality, warranty performance, customer satisfaction, and planning processes, tools, and methodologies.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Marine Operations, or a related field, with relevant experience in service planning, field service coordination, logistics, project coordination, marine operations, or similar operational environments.
- Solid understanding of service quotation preparation, resource planning, mobilization, execution follow-up, reporting, invoicing, and job closure, supported by basic commercial knowledge of labor costs, travel expenses, cost allocation, service orders, and warranty processes.
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, field service planning applications, reporting platforms, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience coordinating engineers, technicians, vessel attendance, shipyard activities, offshore assignments, or international travel is preferred. Exposure to marine services, rotating equipment, compressors, LNG carriers, shipyards, or dry-docking environments is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills with attention to detail, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across regions, functions, cultures, and time zones.
- Safety-first, customer-focused, and service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Demonstrates ownership, sound judgment, cost awareness, reliable follow-through, and proactive escalation when required.
