LOCATION: Busan, South Korea

[MISSION]

To assemble (single stage) turbo and (multi stage) screw compressor major(core) units in time and quality according given drawings and processes. This also includes preparation and verification of components, related quality checks and support to the test area.

[KEY RESPONSIBILITY]

• Major(Core) unit assembly
• Preparation for components for completeness and quality.
• Prepare the assembly location (alignment, cleanliness, tools)
• Understand and implement the procedures and work instructions for packaging and assembly of core and main components.
• Test run preparations.
• Coupling alignment between core unit and driver using laser alignment equipment
• Understand and implement the procedures and work instructions for test run and data gathering.
• Installing compressor packages on test bed, connecting water & lubrication oil hose and electric wire between test-related facilities and the equipment and preparing conditions for test operation and removing them after the test.
• Using and manage equipment correctly to ensure safety of personnel and equipment during daily operation, maintain equipment regularly according to maintenance plan.
• Implement 5S for management of tools, work benches and working area.
• Report verbally quality deviation to the engineer.
• Provide list of non-conformities (punch list) to production, quality and engineering
• Support necessary actions to correct non-quality issues.
• Comply with discipline and safety rules.
• Parts/materials handling (receiving, storing, moving, lifting, recording) by crane or fork-lift operation.
• Others requested by production team leader and/or production manager

[REQUIREMENTS]

• High school graduate.
• Certification for forklift and overhead crane operations are surplus.
• Understanding drawings/diagrams, procedures, and instructions written in English
• More than 3-year experience in assembly/test/commissioning of rotating equipment (compressors, diesel engines, pumps, or gear boxes) or similar machinery.
• Be familiar with related quality inspection tasks (dimensional measurements, alignment, run-out measurements, …) and their documentation.
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
• Fluency in Korean language
• Willing to occasionally work at late shift.
• Willing to travel (domestic and abroad), average <10% of the working time., mainly for training purposes.
