Job description

The Area Sales Manager – Atlas Copco Industrial Tools and Assembly Systems Motor Vehicle Division (ACTA - MVI) is responsible for the development, management and continuing improvement of the MVI business. We are now looking for a customer focused candidate to assume the responsibility as Area Sales Manager for ACTA – MVI in Egypt and will report to MVI Regional Sales Manager.

Below are the major tasks for the position:
- Sales of ATLAS COPCO’s Tools to the Motor Vehicles Industry customers
- Achieve sales target by focus on MVI customers in segment and implement sales activities

- Improve the coverage of the customer base
- Maintain structured knowledge of customers and distributors
- Applies Value Based Selling techniques, identifies money bags for the customer and creates complete solution/offer packages including not only Tools but also Customized Software Solutions, Quality Assurance Tightening(QAT) products, Quality Integrated Fastening(QIF) products, Accessories and Service products and finally presenting the offer packages to influencers and decision makers. - To support the group's vision "First in Mind—First in Choice®" and promote core values : Interaction, Commitment and  Innovation
- Develop the service infrastructure for our main customer base
- Develop good hands on experience of operating tools used, develop best practice product demonstration standards in customer process
- Ensure there is solid understanding of how parameters shown in the demonstration support customers value
- In close cooperation with Product Support plan, organize and conduct sales and marketing activities such as demo, seminars, product launches etc.

- Work closely with Global KAM to deploy Key Account strategy
- Manage the projects from the beginning to the completion

 

Experience requirements

- Proven commercial and business awareness with a strong track record of achievements
- Technical skills and experience

- Proven management skills
- Experience from industrial technical product sales and product management skills is plus
- Experience from industrial tools sales would be an advantage

- Project Management experience is preferred

 

Educational requirements / Knowledge

The successful candidate should have:

* Degree in engineering, machinery and/or electronic and electrical or equivalent experience in the Industry

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Excellent business analysis, planning and organization skills

* Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

* Computer literate: Microsoft Office

* Driving license.
