Your role

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team based in Edmonton or Calgary.

In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening customer relationships, driving service revenue, and supporting our field service team. 

You will be responsible for proactively identifying service opportunities, preparing and providing quotes, following up with customers, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. 

 

You will report to the Parts and Inside Sales Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound customer interactions related to service, spare parts, and maintenance solutions.
  • Proactively identify new service opportunities within the existing customer base in Western Canada.
  • Prepare and follow up on service quotations (preventive maintenance, AIRPlan, repairs, upgrades, connectivity solutions, etc.).
  • Support Service Sales Engineers and Field Service Technicians by providing pricing, technical documents, and product information.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM (C4C/SAP) and ensure timely follow-up on leads and service requests.
  • Work closely with operations and scheduling teams to coordinate service interventions.
  • Promote Atlas Copco’s service programs (SmartLink, upgrade kits, service plans, overhauls).
  • Support customer inquiries on order status, delivery timelines, and general service-related questions.
  • Actively participate in improving customer satisfaction and overall service efficiency.

 

To succeed, you will need

  • Minimum 3 years strong experience in a sales support role (industrial or B2B environment preferred).
  • Good electrical and mechanical knowledge or equivalent experience
  • Ability to understand mechanical manuals
  • Good computer skills and proficiency with a CRM system 
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a national team
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience in the compressor industry would be an asset

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site 3 days per week at our office in Calgary or Acheson, Canada.
