Sales Engineer General Industry - Thailand

Your role
Atlas Copco General Industry Thailand is looking for a Sales Engineer to drive customer development and business growth within the assigned territory. This role suits a customer-focused sales professional with strong technical understanding, commercial acumen, and effective communication skills in Thai and English.
Key Responsibilities
Territory & Business Development
- Achieve sales targets and grow business within the assigned territory.
- Identify and develop new customers, applications, and market opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Support sales campaigns, product launches, exhibitions, and customer events.
Customer & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Understand customer challenges and propose value-added solutions.
- Develop strategic accounts and support long-term customer growth.
- Position Atlas Copco as a trusted partner for productivity, quality, safety, and operational improvement.
Value Selling & Solution Development
- Apply value-based selling to address customer needs and pain points.
- Present and demonstrate Atlas Copco solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with product specialists, service teams, and application experts.
- Support customers in improving manufacturing performance through innovative solutions.
Distributor & Channel Collaboration
- Work with distributors and channel partners to expand market coverage.
- Support partner-led business development and opportunity follow-up.
- Ensure alignment with Atlas Copco’s sales strategy and customer-focused approach.
Sales Process & Commercial Management
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Prepare quotations, support negotiations, and follow up on projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales execution.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity reporting.
- Ensure compliance with pricing, margin, and commercial guidelines.

To succeed, you will need
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- At least 5 years experience in B2B sales, preferably technical or industrial sales roles involving customer interaction.
- Proven track record in selling premium industrial equipment, tools, automation, or manufacturing technologies.
- Background familiarity with industrial customers and manufacturing operations is advantageous.
- Strong capability in meeting sales targets via structured, value-focused selling approaches.
- Experienced collaborator with distributors or channel partners.
- Fluent in English and Thai, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant disciplines or equivalent practical experience.

Job location
