Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager - Methods Engineering

Your role
As a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager – Methods Engineering , your mission is to Support and promote Atlas Copco's mission of being recognized as a Reference Product Company by establishing and continuously improving world-class manufacturing processes.
You will
- Key Responsibilities
• Develop, standardize, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for Industrial Air products.
• Drive NPI/NPD projects and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Lead product and process change management activities.
• Maintain SAP/GEMS, MES, routings, master data, and manufacturing systems.
• Drive Industry 4.0, automation and digitalization initiatives.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Waste Walk and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Conduct line balancing and productivity improvement studies.
• Ensure compliance with IMS, EMS, EnMS and Health & Safety requirements.
• Drive FTR, DOA and continuous improvement through problem-solving methodologies.
• Coordinate tooling and fixture development with suppliers.
• Collaborate across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Engineering teams.

Experience Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Methods Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience in assembly operations of industrial products, Lean Manufacturing and process improvement.
- Knowledge of ERP and MES platforms.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification in Management or Engineering is an added advantage.
