Technical Service Specialist, Power Technique Service Division

Your main duties will include:

  • Technical and application support within the product ranges of:

    - Atlas Copco

    - Chicago Pneumatic

    • You will offer day by day 2nd and 3rd line technical support in solving complex problems together with our teams at customer site.
    • You will continuously improve the product quality by a proactive reporting follow up. This includes analyzing warranty reports, failure reports and the behavior of our connected equipment. You are the driving force in the technical committee meetings (TCM) and participate in the product quality meetings (PQM).
    • You will play an active role in product development to assure exceptional serviceability and lowest lifecycle cost by giving a strong involvement in the project team meetings (PTM and PCM).
    • You will develop and provide technical training, troubleshooting guidelines, video instructions, … following our divisional strategy.
    • You will collaborate with all stakeholders (cross-departmental and cross-divisional).

    • You have bachelor's degree in engineering. A solid experience of a minimum 3 years in a similar, technical environment could also be relevant. Both would be ideal.
    • You possess technical affinity and preferably also the essential knowledge of compressors and diesel engines and handheld tools pneumatic & hydraulics.
    • You show an intrinsic interest in IoT (Internet of Things), connectivity solutions and alternative power sources such as engine, VSD and battery technology.
    • You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language and necessary for networking and collaboration in multinational teams. Mastering an additional language is considered as a nice bonus.
    • You can’t wait to travel and make short international & local trips as your technical expertise is needed.
