The Sales Manager prospects, sources, and maintains quality customers in assigned area. A requirement of this role is to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project number of contacts to be made. The Sales Manager manages, calls on, and sells products directly to customers in assigned area and will actively engage in planned prospecting activities geared at increasing the customer base. They will follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and establish rapport through maintaining regular contact with existing and new customers (particularly key accounts). Responding promptly to customer inquiries, introducing new products and upgrades, studying customer needs and coordinating customer service are abilities the Sales Manager should have.

 

MISSIONS 

  • Sale of Mobility Solutions (Railway, e-bus, Mining, trucks)
  • Create business plan to further develop the territory for new customers and applications especially with key accounts
  • Planning and organizing of all sales functions.
  • Coordinate with marketing group for implementing new products/applications campaigns.
  • Identifies current and future customer’s requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers
  • Preparing and presenting quotes, proposals, pricing, credit terms. Overseeing customer services through quality checks and follow-up; to help in identifying and resolving customer concerns.
  • Market Intelligence, Build Network, Product/Application Knowledge
  • Achieve the assigned annual sales target
  • Identifies new customer/new application/Upcoming new project
  • Knowledge about competitor Product & Activity
  • Develop technical competence to prepare budget quotes with support of marketing and proposal team
  • Develop effective sales strategies at both accounts and markets levels.
  • Commercial negotiation
  • Control expenses while maximizing the sales efforts
  • Participate in trade shows, technical forums, and conferences to represent Atlas Copco
  • Maintaining a professional image at all times through personal actions and initiatives. Enhancing brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.

TO SUCCEED, YOU WILL NEED 

  • B.S. degree in Sales discipline, Engineering discipline or Equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in sales/marketing in Industrial Sales/Business Development, customized and engineered Machinery related environment within Mobility

  • Team spirit and good communication skills

  • Ability to manage multi key customers and projects in a long cycle sale process.

  • Good understanding of Mobility applications in these market segments

  • Other requirements:- French and English are a must, other European language is a plus
