Your role

As the Communications Specialist, you will coordinate and run communication activities within the North America regions with the objective of supporting sustainable profitable growth. This includes the responsibility for the structure and tools of internal and external communications and ensuring they are aligned with the strategic objectives of the regional Edwards customer center, product companies, and divisional objectives.You will report to the Communications Manager.

 

You will

  • Provide regional content for divisional campaigns and channels and ensure stories, achievements, and successes from both the Semi and General Vacuum businesses are promoted across broader communication platforms including divisions, business areas, and the Atlas Copco Group.
  • Set up and manage an internal communications program for STC Americas—covering employees at the Nogales and Chandler sites—to build a strong regional community with aligned objectives across North America Customer Center.
  • Develop and manage tactical marketing communications and promotional activities that support revenue goals for each BLM. This includes creating awareness and consideration through customer campaigns, print and online advertising, and literature.
  • Partner with regional stakeholders to prepare, coordinate, and manage the execution of exhibitions, conferences, customer engagement opportunities, and fairs for both business lines.
  • Maintain and strengthen premium brand reputation and awareness throughout the region.
  • Manage regional digital communications through corporate social media channels.
  • Act as a brand steward, implementing the brand promise and ensuring consistent brand identity across all projects, including branding of premises and vehicles.
  • Develop and execute employer branding campaigns.

You will have a Marketing and/or communications-related degree, as well as 3+ years of work experience in marketing/communication. You will also have the following skills:  

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Adequate skills in Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), web publishing tools, and social media.
  • Ability to adapt and utilize the AI tools that are related to communications and creative productions. (Canva, CoPilot, etc.)
  • Excellent skills in MS Office; PPT, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge and understanding of sales, marketing, communications, and brand and their relationship in wider business scope.
  • Ability to digest complicated collaterals, such as high-level business updates and technical data, and transform them into a user-friendly version by summarizing and visualizing the information.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Edwards in Chandler, AZ!
