Regional Sales Manager - SFA

We are excited to be hiring a dynamic and key member of our Sales Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future and growth of our product lines across the MVS Smart Factory Automation (SFA) portfolio. Utilize your expertise to expand market share across all product lines, enhance brand awareness, and increase profitability within your targeted key accounts. You will be responsible for building customer relationships, analyzing opportunities, understanding customer needs, and implementing effective sales strategies and plans. This position reports to the Business Line Manager, SFA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate our business position at existing and new customers in the assigned key accounts (e.g., forecasting, SWOT analysis, customer needs/expectations, market pricing, market share, revenue, customer feedback, competitive analysis).
- Develop and execute a yearly business plan with agreed-upon targets.
- Conduct regular plant visits to meet goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Create and adapt customer-specific sales materials for your key accounts.
- Implement all applicable MVS SFA sales strategies and act as the local solutions expert.
- Actively participate in the sales team for corporate purchases/projects destined for your territory.
- Partner with other Atlas Copco sales team members and the Product Company to deliver excellent customer experience and results.
- Drive global communication with key account team members globally and with the product company.
- Develop complete customer satisfaction and meet/exceed target sales volumes for Atlas Copco IAS products for the defined customer base.
- Analyze market opportunities and develop a sales strategy to complete the sales cycle in a timely manner according to sales forecasting.
- Develop positive relationships in all accounts and introduce new products with a customer-specific value focus.
- Maintain existing accounts, including sales leads and opportunities, and develop new accounts.
- Be proactive in building customer relationships and develop strategies to increase the support base.
- Identify key influencers and decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Work closely with the Proposal, Project Management, and Engineering teams to ensure competitive and cost-effective solutions.
- Support weekly sales and proposal status review meetings and deliverables.
- Identify IAS products/solutions to penetrate the market and gain market share.
- Complete all required training classes specified by Atlas Copco IAS for sales personnel.
- Perform other duties as required
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business (focus on sales/marketing/strategic product development) or Engineering (Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical).
- Preferred 3 years of experience selling technical devices to the automotive industry. Knowledge in industrial vision systems is an advantage. Sales, Business Development, Consulting, Product or Project Management experience preferred. Industrial sales background with B2B strategies is advantageous as well.
- Proven experience in sales management or related roles. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
