Your role

 

Compensation: Base salary range $55,000 to $65,000, plus monthly commission.  Salary range is based on knowledge, skills and experience. 

 

As an Inside Sales Representative, your responsibilities are:

  • Maintain the customer relations and you guarantee our customers an excellent daily service.
  • Primary point of contact for the customers in your region.
  • Process requests by preparing and delivering quotes and technical documents.
  • Assist the sales team in boosting sales and performance.
  • Responsibility can include setting up appointments or following up with customers after their first interaction with a salesperson.
  • Meet customers via virtual way (Teams) or visit them at their premises.
  • Listen to the customer’s needs and propose and implement improvements to support the further development.
  • Call customers when additional information is required to process the request. 
  • Follow up on customers (propose solutions in case of problems (warranty, delivery...). 
  • Receive telephone calls from customers and answer promptly.  Work together with customer service to assist customers in the best way possible.
  • Making approx. 20 calls per week to potential customers to generate new opportunities.
  • Handle administrative matters (following up mailboxes, updating customer data, creating new customers) 
  • Assist your colleagues where necessary.
  • Strive to maximize customer satisfaction and take actions to promote customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on quotations and keep the CRM up to date by updating item master data, creating new items and customers.

 

 

To succeed, you will need

 

  • Seeking an enthusiastic and result-driven professional with ideally a background in internal sales and/or business development and/or customer support:. 
  • Bachelor degree and/or 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function.
  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in business or technical field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Have an pro-active attitude and are customer oriented. 
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks, some are clearly defined in advance, as needed.
  • Thinking along on daily improvements of working methods to remain efficient.
  • Creative in thinking and acting, have a sense of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances (flexibility).
  • Communicate in a relationship-oriented way with both internal and external customers and a passion to work with customers.
