Purchasing Intern
Your role
Are you majoring in Supply Chain, Business or a related field? Are you looking for some real-world job experience? If yes, this internship is for you! The Atlas Copco Group will be offering a 10-week paid summer internship to an undergraduate or graduate student.
The intern will work within the Purchasing team on a wide variety of projects and assignments, including but not limited to:
- Assist in monitoring vendor performance
- Use SAP and other systems to gather and analyze supplier data
- Prepare information for supplier review meetings and performance improvement plans
- Implement strategic sourcing initiatives
- Assist with monitoring inventory levels
- Communicate urgent needs to necessary parties

- Enrolled as a Junior/Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution
- Obtaining a degree in Supply Chain, Distribution, or Business Administration
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail, be well-organized and show initiative.
- Take initiative, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Experience using Microsoft office programs.
