STRUCTURAL CALCULATION ENGINEER

As a Structural Calculation Engineer, your mission is to deliver quality designs which include accurate calculations as per client specfications. You will report to Office Manager.

You will

•   Review Client specifications and identify requirements.
•    Preparation of Structural Design calculations in Staad-Pro and spread sheets, for Pump base plates & Packages installed in concrete I steel structure.
•    Preparation of Foundation loading Data and compilation of calculation report for client review.
•    Design and Selection of Anchor bolt for the Foundation mounted equipments.
•    Review of Fabrication Drawings in accordance with Design Calculations.
•    Responding to Client Queries through package Engineer/ team lead.
•    Review of design reports from outsocuring partners and ensuring compliance to specifications, codes and standards.
•    Attending desig review meetings, if any.
•    Responsible for the Design of Strcutures, Frames and Platforms.
•    Responsible for smooth coordination between departments and also interdisciplinary .
•    Responsible for the specification compliance to the design.
•    Responsible to approve Engineering Change Requests related to Structures
•    Authorized for negotiating manhours with Outsourcing Partners.
•    Authorized to review and approve documents as per Engineering Scope Matrix.

You have 5 - 8 years of experience, working as a Structural Calculation Engineer.

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering
• Knowledge in Structural and Civil Design and Design codes.
• Knowledge in Pump [API 6741675 / 610) base plates design.
• Knowledge in structural design for On-shore / Off-shore I FPSO.
• Knowledge in Analysis of structures - In-place / Wind / Seismic / Lifting / Transport I Blast/ Dynamic load conditions. 

Prefered background in Manufacturing of Pumps, Pump Skids & Packages for Oil & Gas and adept Staad-PRO, AutoCAD.
