Your role

The Salesperson will be part of Trident Pneumatics within the AGA Division, responsible for field sales, business development, and achieving monthly targets aligned with the divisional strategy. The role requires independently managing the assigned territory to ensure complete customer coverage, including Dealers, Associates, and OEMs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet existing customers to understand current and future requirements, ensuring maximum share of business.
  • Work closely with dealers and associates to achieve sales goals, expand distribution channels, and leverage market potential.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrate strong commercial acumen in negotiations, pricing, and terms.
  • Collect and report market intelligence, including customer feedback, pricing suggestions, product/service opportunities, and competitor actions.
  • Identify and develop new customers across the Trident product range; build strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and consultants to promote Trident Pneumatics.
  • Drive market share expansion and achieve volume targets within the assigned territory.

Additional Duties:

  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing, and credit terms as required.
  • Ensure excellent customer service through regular follow-ups and coordination to resolve issues.
  • Maintain a professional image and contribute to strengthening the division’s brand presence.
  • Develop sales materials and represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through visits, calls, and consistent communication.
  • Manage distributor partners and collaborate with installation and engineering companies to support customer needs.
  • Work with managers and product marketing teams to offer tailored solutions.
  • Solve customer problems by providing value-added solutions that enhance productivity, air quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Update CRM systems with details of visits, proposals, correspondence, and orders.
  • Monitor market trends and competition, share insights, and highlight new business opportunities.
  • Participate in seminars, exhibitions, and marketing activities to enhance market coverage and visibility.

To succeed, you will need

Skills and experience

           • Degree/Diploma in engineering,

           • 4 to 7+ years of direct sales experience or customer service experience.

• Have proven business analysis skills. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Up to 80% travel.

This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from anywhere within the region of Chennai, while being associated with our customer center in India (IN).
