Deal with the import customs clearance of Intercompany (Edwards UK, CZ, JP, QD, and etc.), 3rd party (EU & Asia) and express shipments according to manufacturing, remanufacturing & sales plan and special shipments such as FOC and drop shipment

Manage bonded and inland trucking of imported shipments to the factory (C2 & C3), service site or outbound warehouse in Edwards Korea

Monitor the shortage items and share the shipment schedules with internal customers such as M/C, Buyers, or Assembly Team

Apply for EU & CN FTA regarding import shipments after checking sensitively the invoice, country of origin, certificate no., HS code, origin criterion or etc. In case of CN FTA, need to manage a list and cost of C/Os as monthly base, for the future customs audit

Implement the exemption for semi-conductor industry items and manage the process - upload the pump production plan and report sales history to Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, renew the designated factory (C2 & C3) authorisation for exemption

Apply for the certificate of the items which needs specific authorization according to Korea Customs Law and manage the related import process – for example, Electrical Appliances Safety Control Act or Radio Waves Act

Manage any additional cost for import declaration regarding tooling cost, marketing cost, insurance, and C/O cost

Validate monthly ending cost of the suppliers which are customs agent, bonded & inland trucking agent, and forwarders

Calculate monthly Duty Exemption, EU & CN FTA saving and support Duty & Freight Analysis by preparing the spending data of monthly ending

Share all cost related import tasks, such as duty & giro, with finance department so that make a payment within due date

Support trade compliance related the imported shipments such as AEO, internal and external audit, customs issue, or etc.

Handle and raise claims for the damaged shipments

Set-up regular KPI meetings with suppliers to improve work environment and manage the suppliers such as forwarders, customs agent and in-land trucking company

Support and manage data of CPS (Customs Pass System) and develop the program 

Keep the documents related to import shipments such as BL & Invoice, import license, original certificate of origin, bills for import shipment cost, and etc.

 

Education level
   Majoring in Trade, International Trade and Management
   Bachelor degree or above

 

Relevant Previous experience
   Relevant experience can be helpful, but not essential

 

Knowledge areas/Skills
   Multitasking skill to handle the various import shipments
   Communication and cooperation skills with colleagues and suppliers
   International trade and import customs knowledge
   Knowledge in ERP System – SAP & NCIS (New Customs Integrated System)
   Not prefessional but familiar with / using them at least in 1 semester or 50 hrs
   Experience with programming languages – ex) VBA
   Experience with DataBase & DataWarehousse(BI)- ex) Access, SAP-BW, PowerBI, Query

   Fluent verbal, reading, writing English skill
   Ability to react quickly and actively for unexpected situations
