Job Description

As In-House Service Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following: 

 

SAP & Logistics Process

  • Daily execution in SAP of goods receipt, put-away, transfer postings, picking, packing, goods issue, returns, consignment, stock transport orders and service notifications.

 

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics processes (order-to-ship, repair loop, reverse logistics) ensuring data accuracy and full traceability.

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee all inbound and outbound flows; ensure correct packing, labelling and documentation so goods arrive undamaged and compliant.
  • Sustain 5S and housekeeping standards across warehouse, stores and workshop areas.
  • Ensure adequate stocks of packing materials and consumables.
  • Arrange collection/dispatch to customer sites and field engineers via preferred logistics partners; optimize cost and lead time.
  • Any additional duties required for the efficient operation of the warehouse and service areas as requested by the Service Manager.

Inventory Management & Internal Controls

  • Maintain >98% inventory accuracy through robust cycle counting, reconciliation and root-cause elimination of variances.
  • Plan and execute annual stock take with Service Manager; prepare auditable evidence and SOX-compliant controls where applicable.
  • Record and resolve issues with damaged goods or deliveries; raise claims with suppliers/carriers as required.

In-house Service & Customer Support

  • Booking in of customer pumps/equipment and parts deliveries in SAP following defined processes; allocate materials to the correct service orders/jobs.
  • Package pumps/materials for shipment to engineers and customers ensuring protection in transit and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and Health & Safety compliant workshop environment to facilitate in-house repair workflows and turnaround time.

 

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

 

Essential: 

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end logistics processes, inventory control, and master data governance.
  • Forklift drivers licence and experience of driving in a racked warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation (eg Power BI) is a plus
  • Excellent problem solving, prioritisation and stakeholder communication skills.
