Warehouse Operative

About the Role

BeaconMedaes is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves working across various warehouse functions including Goods In, Picking, Dispatch, and Inventory Management. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of stock and orders within our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify incoming and outgoing stock against delivery manifests
• Perform final product preparation (kitting)
• Participate in daily cycle counting and stock accuracy checks
• Book stock into the system using SAP
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
• Put away stock and manage stock rotation
• Refill warehouse locations using Kanban systems
• Match delivery notes with purchase orders
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Carry out general warehouse duties as required

Note: This role can be physically demanding and may involve heavy lifting.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• PC literate – basic computer skills required (SAP training provided)

Desirable:

• Valid Combilift / Bendi forklift licence (training can be provided)
