Your role

As an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer within the Vacuum Technique business area at Edwards Japan Ltd, your primary mission is to design, develop, and optimize electromechanical components and systems that drive excellence in our semi chamber solutions. Reporting to the Department Manager of Edwards Japan - CC, you will play a critical role in advancing innovative technology that supports our market leadership and customer satisfaction.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and analysis of electrical and mechanical subsystems ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and R&D to ensure seamless integration of components.
• Conducting rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Contributing technical expertise to the development of new product concepts that align with Edwards' strategic innovation initiatives.
• Documenting engineering processes and maintaining detailed technical records to uphold compliance with industry regulations.

• Demonstrated 3 to 7 years of proven experience working in electrical and mechanical engineering roles, particularly in vacuum or related high-technology environments.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles is an advantage.
