Your role

As a Japan Service Supply Chain Planner within our Semiconductor Service Division, your primary mission is to ensure the seamless flow of materials and services supporting our vacuum technology operations in Japan. Reporting directly to the Service Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in coordinating supply chain activities to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and manage supply chain plans that align with service demand forecasts and operational requirements in the Japan region.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and service engineering to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely availability of parts and services.
  • Analyze supply chain performance data, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain high service levels.
  • Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain responsiveness and reducing costs.
  • Support system implementations and upgrades related to supply chain planning, providing insights and feedback to maximize efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within a service or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English to effectively coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor or vacuum technology industries is advantageous.
