IT Infrastructure Manager, VTBA China

Your role

As a IT Infrastructure Manager, your mission is to [This role is an opportunity to lead the VTBA IT operation teams in China to ensure implementation and operation of chinese solutions and local IT support in China. The Scope of work includes all IT Infrastructure & Operations activities across China, including Data Centre Operations, Applications, Workplace/End‑User Support, Cloud Operations (where applicable), and local IT Security operational adherence.The role ensures the stability, performance, and compliance of all infrastructure services in China while aligning them with global Atlas Copco standards. This position also acts as the senior-most point of accountability for IT Operations in China. As the Chinese infrastructure is interconnected with the global Infrastructure Atlas Copco and VTBA, local Chinese IT activities must be coordinated with all parties to ensure secure, efficient and robust operation.This role will report to Head of Product - Customer & Commercial and will have got a dotted line to the Head of IT Infrastructure VTIS ]. You will report to [IT Business Partner, China ].

You will

• Lead the China infrastructure team VT BA on daily base.
• Represents China as part of the VTIS IT team by addressing all IT Infrastructure topics for China.
• Leads the IT operation team in China that operates and supports applications and underlying IT infrastructure operated for VTBA in China.
• Coordinates operations with the Head of IT Infrastructure and his deputy Head of IT Operations VTBA, ensures that the operational processes are followed and the KPIs of the entire Chinese infrastructure for VTBA are centrally reported for VTIS.
• Stays in contact with business stakeholders to understand technical needs and support local IT projects.
• Ensures documentation of all chinese applications and systems in Chinese and English language.
• Ensures compliance with legal and internal IT regulations in China and the Group.
• Acts as the escalation route for local IT problems and coordinate the resolution of incidents and problems together with the local and global teams.

• Several years of experience in the operation of complex IT environments.
• Several years of experience in leading teams in China.
• ITIL Certification.
• Basics of Security Training.
• Proven experience managing IT products or IT product portfolios, and applying agile practices from ideation through to design, build, deploy, operate, and retirement.
• Strong communication skills (fluency in Chinese and English) with evidenced ability to influence senior Business and IT stakeholders, as well as external partners.
• Flexible to travel within China and abroad, as needed, to other locations within VTBA and self-motivated.
